We are seeking a new Events and Volunteers Coordinator to help deliver this year’s festival.
Roman River Music has an exciting year ahead, with its first broadcast on BBC Radio 3 this July ahead of an exciting and diverse festival in September. We need an enthusiastic, committed and experienced administrator and an energetic event manager to work alongside our General Manager to plan, prepare and execute one of our most ambitious years to date.
The job will involve developing and implementing action plans for each venue, building volunteer teams and assisting the rest of the Roman River team in both administrative and practical tasks – it is a vital and incredibly rewarding role, requiring someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, who can adapt quickly to existing systems but also take initiative and who relishes in a job well done.
We are looking for someone who can work flexibly, giving up to 2 days a week – or 4 half days – between now and 30 November, with additional time for our BBC Radio 3 recordings over the weekend of 14-16 July and during the festival itself, 14 September – 1 October. The role may well be continued pending confirmation of Roman River Music’s funding relationship with the Arts Council later this year.
