Change in programme, due to unforeseen circumstances, Zoe Martlew is unable to play tomorrow, however we are pleased to confirm that Mark Simpson has found a brilliant cellist to replace her called Tom Shelley.
Thomas Shelley is a diverse and versatile musician. Active as a both a composer and a cellist, he has performed with some of the leading musicians of this generation. Described as an ‘intensely expressive voice’ (Hannoversche Zeitung) and ‘an absolute virtuoso’ (Luzerner Zeitung), he has built a reputation as a multi-faceted artist with a repertoire spanning several centuries and continents.
